V.Group to Manage ADNOC's 93 Offshore Vessels

Dutch heavy lift specialist Mammoet said it has opened new branch offices in Oman and the United Arab Emirates, having seen an increase in projects across the Middle East. Mammoet has been operating in the Middle East for over 40 years and has already established a head office in Dubai. Abu Dhabi Ship Building PJSC (ADSB) has launched a training and development program which is designed to prepare young Emiratis for careers in the shipbuilding and repair industry.   There are currently 40 trainees enrolled in the first class of the technician development program which provides young Emirati talent with the skills to become professional mechanical and electrical technicians. It includes both technical English and technical development skills.   Trainees will receive 1,120 hours of theoretical and practical training over nine months through higher colleges of technology.
