UTEC Survey, an Acteon company, has announced the strengthening of its management team in Australia to further enhance the company’s client-focused approach.

Former UTEC Survey Australia Operations Manager Mick Elmslie has taken on the role of Business Development Manager, and the position of Operations Manager has been filled thanks to the recruitment of Paul Barry.

Elmslie joined UTEC in 2010 as a Project Manager before becoming Operations Manager in 2013. In his time as Operations Manager, Elmslie has been involved in the significant growth of UTEC’s Australian division and has overseen numerous major projects. His breadth of experience in running projects of all sizes, allied to many years working offshore at the sharp end of the business, ideally equips him to lead UTEC’s efforts in developing new clients and securing repeat business from existing customers.

Barry joins UTEC having previously been Project Surveyor for both Technip and Subsea 7. With almost 20 years in the offshore survey sector he brings a wealth of operational experience to UTEC, including a period as Operations Manager at Perth-based Neptune Geomatics.
