Port of LA on Pace to Surpass 9 Mln TEU in 2017

APM Terminals Announces New Labor Pool

 APM Terminals Gothenburg has signed an agreement with the staffing agency Adecco to hire temporary personnel effective 1 October 2017 to address adhoc extra staffing needs at peak times.   “The main work carried out at our container terminal will continue to be performed by our permanent staff. APM Terminals to Cut 160 Staff at Gothenburg after Strikes

Port operator APM Terminals, part of A.P. Moller-Maersk, said it will cut 160 staff at its Gothenburg terminal in Sweden, the largest in Scandinavia, as labour disruptions had caused container volumes to drop by 25 percent over the past year.
