Horizon Marine Welcomes Boll

William Boll is Horizon Marine’s second oceanographer to be hired in the last two months, further bolstering the company’s capabilities.

William graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Physics. He then completed his M.S. in Physical Oceanography while also obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Modeling and Simulation Engineering at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. William’s thesis involved analyzing observed Doppler shifted internal waves generated by tidal interactions with local bathymetry in a shallow water region off the coast of New Jersey.

Patrice Coholan, President of Horizon Marine, said, “We are in a growth phase with the new office in Rio and demand for our routing and tracking services.”

Horizon Marine Inc. is an oceanographic services company specializing in environmental and operational marine data collection and analysis around the world.  Horizon’s EddyWatchtm and RouteWatchsm services utilize public and proprietary data which are carefully reviewed and analyzed by a team of specialist.
