ST Engineering Makes Management Changes
Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd today announced that Mr Ravinder Singh will replace Mr Sew Chee Jhuen as President of Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (ST Kinetics). Mr Sew will take on a new role as President for Special Projects at ST Engineering. The appointments are effective 23 March 2015.
Mr Singh is currently Deputy President, Corporate and Market Development at Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited (ST Electronics), a role he held since joining the Group in August 2014. He will relinquish this appointment in ST Electronics. Currently, in this position, he leads the Group's Smart Nation initiatives and will continue to do so in his new capacity.

Prior to joining ST Electronics, Mr Singh held various senior command and staff appointments in MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces, where he was recognised for his astute leadership, exceptional drive and strong management ability. Some of the key appointments that he had held include Chief of Army, Deputy Secretary (Technology) and Chief of Staff (Joint Staff). Mr Singh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science (First Class Honours) in 1986 and a Master of Arts in Engineering Science in 1992, both from the University of Oxford, UK. He also completed his Master of Science in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in 1996 and the Wharton Advanced Management Program in 2014.
Mr Sew has been with the Group since January 1988 and has spent over 15 years of his career in the Aerospace sector holding various engineering and management appointments. He joined ST Kinetics in August 2003, and was initially responsible for the defence business before being promoted to his current role as President in September 2006.
Mr Sew graduated with a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics (High Distinction) in 1987 from the University of Minnesota, USA and a Masters in Business Administration in 1994 from Stanford University, USA.
