After making its mark on aviation staffing, technology company CREWBLAST announced it is now offering its services to the yachting industry.

Yacht owners and operators will have access to the same technology that CREWBLAST uses in its staffing model for private aircraft operations.

CREWBLAST's technology-first approach includes a database of qualified crewmembers, from captains and engineers to interior staff, all that have registered for CREWBLAST and have downloaded the CREW app. When an operator needs staffing, a “Blast” is sent via push notification directly to the mobile devices of all crew members matching the criteria and they can respond immediately, resulting in fast and accurate crew staffing.

CREWBLAST’s technology works around the world, and the app is currently available in both the Apple App and Google Play Stores.

In its first full year of operations for the aviation industry, CREWBLAST said it blew past forecasted sales by nearly 350% and continues to grow at a rapid clip.

“We saw incredibly fast adoption in the aviation industry and we continue to receive stellar feedback from both crewmembers and aircraft operators. Yacht staffing is a logical next step for us, where we can provide the same quality, speed and efficiency that we’ve become known for,” said CREWBLAST president Timothy Griffin.

When it comes to yacht staffing, not only are there more positions to fill than in aviation, but the turnover rate tends to be higher as it can be difficult to retain staff. CREWBLAST said it hopes that its app-based technology can solve this gap and provide a win-win for both yacht crewmembers and operators, much like it has already done with aircraft staffing.
