BRP has appointed Olivier Pierini to fill the position of director of global marketing and strategic planning for the Marine Propulsion Systems Division (MPS).
In this new role, Pierini is responsible for leading the MPS team to deliver its marketing strategy that includes reinvigorating the Evinrude brand and helping to define its mission, vision and purpose in the marketplace. His primary focus includes identifying the most impactful commercial marketing strategy for the company’s groundbreaking design efforts, strengthening brand position and leveraging the team of marketing professionals to deliver bold, breakthrough global campaigns supporting the Evinrude brand.
With extensive experience in all facets of marketing in both the United States and Europe, Pierini has served in significant positions of leadership with several iconic brands. He has assumed this role with BRP after concluding his employment with Nissan-Europe where he held both the positions of head of sponsorship and partnership and general manager of marketing communications. Prior to Nissan, Pierini worked with Ford Motor Company, Volvo Car Corporation and BMW Group in roles of progressive scope and responsibility including global marketing, product strategy, lifecycle management, regional sales, sales management, dealer network development and communication.
Pierini has a Master’s degree in marketing from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Grenoble (Grenoble Graduate Business School) and has completed a marketing certification at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
