Controls technology company Proserv said it has promoted Tore Erntsen to the position of chief technology officer (CTO), Subsea Controls, based at the firm’s Trondheim facility.Prior to taking on his new role, Erntsen was vice president, engineering and technology, within the subsea team. Interventek Appoints Stuart as Business Development Director
Subsea Engineering has announced the appointment of Bruce Stuart to the role of Sales and Business Development Director. Stuart brings with him over 30 years of commercial leadership experience and in-depth operational knowledge of the oil and gas industry. Stuart joins Interventek from Proserv where he was VP Business Development Subsea, having previously held a seven year tenure at FMC Technologies, responsible for U.K. and Canada sales and marketing for their subsea products and systems. Proserv apprentice technician Marnie Toal was presented with the Apprentice of the Year Award last night, Thursday November 6, after being judged to have made a very significant impact on the oil and gas industry during her relatively short career. Proserv, is set to add to its more than 2,200-strong global workforce after taking part in events aimed at attracting new talent into the energy industry. Proserv, which has seen its talent pool soar through organic growth and a succession of strategic acquisitions, is to take on new apprentices and ex-military personnel after participating in a Mobilizing the Military initiative organized by subsea industry body, Subsea UK, last Friday.
