Michael Christensen and Glenn Farren appointed to newly created management positions

Christensen, Farren Join Port of Long Beach

General Manager for Southern California Operations. Previously, Farren has worked for shipping companies Maersk, Sea-Land and APL. He is a graduate of Baylor University in Texas, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Farren will start in March and will report to Dr. Noel Hacegaba, Managing Director of Commercial Operations/Chief Commercial Officer. Dr. Noel Hacegaba, who has been serving as the Acting Deputy Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer since June 2013, was named as the new Managing Director of Commercial Operations/Chief Commercial Officer.
