Ex-Ensco CEO Joins Borr Drilling as Director

Golar Taps Karl Fredrik Staubo as CEO

Golar LNG announced on Thursday it has appointed appointed Karl Fredrik Staubo as CEO, filling the void left by prior chief executive Iain Ross, who stepped down in April.Staubo has since May 2020 been the chief executive officer of Golar LNG Partners LP, recently sold to New Fortress Energy. Golar LNG CEO Ross Resigns

Golar LNG said on Monday its chief executive officer Iain Ross has tendered his resignation, and the company will immediately start the process to recruit his successor.The liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping company said the contractual termination period is six months, though it can be prolonged or reduced upon mutual agreement.Ross joined Golar LNG as CEO in September 2017 after holding various leadership roles at WorleyParsons.

Golar LNG Appoints New CFO

Golar LNG said on Tuesday it has appointed Callum Mitchell-Thomson as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 20.In October 2019, Golar LNG announced its current CFO, Graham Robjohns, would step down. Robjohns will remain in his current position until April 20, 2020 and will leave Golar on April 30, 2020.Robjohns' successor, Mitchell-Thomson, has 21 years of experience advising energy, utility and infrastructure companies on M&A and capital markets transactions while working for JP Morgan. Golar LNG CFO Robjohns Steps Down

Golar LNG Limited said that, after almost 20 years of service with the Golar group Graham Robjohns has decided to step down from his position as Chief Financial Officer. In order to facilitate a smooth transition,  Robjohns will remain in his current position until April 30, 2020 while the search for his replacement proceeds.Additionally, Golar LNG Partners L.P. announced that with immediate effect Brian Tienzo will step down as Chief Executive officer of Golar Partners and will focus full time on Golar group financings.  Robjohns will take on the role of Golar Partners CEO until April

Kalleklev Takes Over as CEO of FLEX LNG

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier owner and operator FLEX LNG has appointed Øystein M. Kalleklev as Chief Executive Officer to replace Jonathon Cook, who resigned in May.Kalleklevm, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of Flex LNG since October 2017, will continue to serve as CFO until a replacement is found.Additionally, Marius Foss has joined the company as Head of Commercial. Foss comes from a similar role at Golar LNG.

Major Board Changes at Golar LNG

  Pursuant to today's Notice of AGM, Shareholders are advised to note certain changes to the proposed Board. Chairman, Sir Frank Chapman, has decided not to stand for re-election at the forthcoming AGM, to release the two days a week he currently commits to Golar to focus on other interests.  In addition Board member Kate Blankenship has decided not to stand for re-election due to other professional commitments. Golar LNG Limited announced that with effect from September 19, 2014, Sir Frank Joseph Chapman has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company and will act as the Company's Chairman.   Sir Frank Chapman has worked 40 years in the oil and gas industry culminating in a twelve-year period as Chief Executive of BG Group plc. Under Sir Frank's leadership, BG Group grew from the modest UK-based Exploration and Production interests of the old British Gas into an international integrated oil and gas major. Operating profits grew from some $50 million in 1996 to more than $8 billion in 2012.

Golar LNG to Appoint Sir Frank Chapman as Chairman

  Rolls-Royce Holdings plc reports that Golar LNG Limited has announced its intention to propose the appointment of Sir Frank Chapman as its Chairman, conditional upon the closing of the Secondary Offering recently announced by Golar LNG Limited.   Sir Frank Chapman is a non-executive director, and chair of the safety and ethics committees, of Rolls-Royce Holdings plc.   This disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14 (2) of the Listing Rules. Golar LNG Limited is listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market.
