Hoyer Appoints Sørensen as CEO

Henrik Sørensen is new CEO of Hoyer and will be joining the company June 1, 2018. He comes from a long career at Wärtsilä, latest as Director for the pump division.

Sørensen has a background as civil engineer combined with different management and leadership educations. His position as Hoyer CEO will include two separate business units, Hoyer Motors and Hoyer Transmissions.

Søren Ø. Sørensen, Chairman of the board, Hoyer Group, said,  “With Henrik Sørensen we get a leader with extensive experience from some of the key segments of Hoyer such as marine, water and wastewater and oil and gas. He has a powerful mix of competencies within strategy, sales, operations and leadership, all of which are key elements in realizing our ambitious growth plans.”
