UTEC Exhibits Developmental Growth in EMEA
UTEC, an international survey company, emphasized its commitment to the EMEA region with a push of staff changes and expansion into new geographical territories.
The company’s growth has benefited from opportunities in current locations, augmentation of its core construction support service line and expansion of AUV and IMDC services.
UTEC has strengthened its position by promoting Kevin McBarron to Director of Business Development for the EMEA region. McBarron is primarily responsible to lead the expansion of service lines into new areas across the region and continue to build on the company’s service portfolio through organic growth, partnerships and acquisitions.
Crawford Tennant, new to UTEC, joins with the role of Regional Manager for EMEA based in Aberdeen. Crawford will manage the P&L and associated business functions needed to drive operational excellence. Crawford comes with a solid track record in the oil and gas services sector having held senior positions throughout Europe, West Africa and Asia.
As part of this reorganization, UTEC has announced the promotion of Paul Youngson to Contracts Manager for EMEA, Aberdeen. The consolidation of Contracts and Commercial departments accentuates UTEC’s focus on accurate and strategic contract and commercial responsiveness. Youngson will continue with his current responsibility at a global level to ensure best practices are applied throughout the organization.
UTEC Chief Operating Officer Brendan Ryan commented: “These leadership changes keep UTEC on track with its growth agenda for the EMEA region while enabling us to stay focused on our core values of performance and excellence. Congratulations to Kevin, Crawford and Paul as they step up into their new, exciting and challenging roles.”
