i-Tech 7 Hires New Business Development Manager

May 16, 2019

i-Tech 7, Subsea 7’s life of field business unit, has appointed Craig Roberts as its new regional business development manager for its Asia Pacific & Middle East region.

Roberts, who joins from Total Marine Technology (TMT) where he was operations manager, will be based in the company’s Perth office, in Australia. He brings to the role more than 25 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, specializing in the delivery of remotely executed subsea solutions and tooling across the entire lifecycle of a subsea development.

Roberts will work with Simon Hird, i-Tech 7’s Asia Pacific regional director, who joined the company earlier this year.

“[Roberts] is a well-known face to many of our existing clients and brings key relationships from across the industry which will assist us as we pursue our growth strategy in the region,” Hird said.

“Craig’s appointment, coupled with our extensive life of field capabilities and the recent charter of specialist subsea support vessel, the MMA Pinnacle, ensures we are well positioned as the go-to partner for all our clients’ subsea life of field challenges.”
