Sea IT Welcomes New Recruits

Sea IT continues to win large scale integration projects from the maritime sector and has welcomed John Olsson and Jonathan Puonti, two technical specialists to the team.

Olsson has studied at Chalmers University of Gothenburg in Sweden and holds a wide array of maritime certificates. He has served several years working for shipping companies around the world in different positions. From his maritime career, Olsson has expertise in technical integrations including C and Ku-band, Vsat, TV, communication, radio and navigation equipment from suppliers such as Seatel, Jotron, Intellian, Sailor, STM, Idirect, Comtech, JRC and Iridium. He recently held a technical position at Telemar Scandinavia.
 
Puonti holds an academic degree in network technology and security along with a CCNA certificate. He has previously worked at Ericsson, a multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company headquartered in Sweden.
 
The new team members will be stationed at the Sea IT headquarters in Sweden and travel on assignment to serve customers all over the world.
