Parmaris has appointed Norman Marshall as Production Manager.

The appointment has been made following the rapid expansion of the company which has in the past year significantly increased output and expanded its premises into two new business units.

Norman will head up all aspects of operations at Parmaris including manufacturing, quality control and despatch.  He has worked extensively in the textiles industry for many years and has built up experience in the marine manufacturing sector, including a number of years producing elasticated shock cord and braided rope for marine use.

He says “I am looking forward to the challenge of taking Parmaris forward and working closely with our sales department to take full advantage of the increasing business we are getting from existing customers as well as developing new business that has been identified. To this end I am working on improving efficiency and increasing capacity within all production areas.”

Operations Director Richard Besse comments “Our recent expansion and new machinery means it was vital that we appointed a highly experienced Production Manager to take on ever greater challenges. We have over twenty people manufacturing  gas inflation lifejackets in a diverse and high volume environment.”
