OceanLED Appoints Marketing Director & Sales Manager
OceanLED, the global leader in LED marine lighting technology, announces today that it has appointed Nicole Squartino as its new creative Marketing Director and Oscar Socarras as Territory Sales Manager. Both will be working closely with the US General Manager, Don DeMott, to strengthen the Company’s strategy, sales and further develop their growing portfolio of accounts.
“Nicole and Oscar’s addition to the OceanLED team signals the Company’s continued growth and investment in hiring leaders,” said DeMott. “Their dynamic backgrounds in the marine industry, marketing, sales and dealer development is a natural next phase of our business.”
In this role, Ms. Squartino will oversee all aspects of the organizations marketing and advertising to help drive brand awareness throughout the world. With nearly 15 years of experience as a Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Director, Nicole has extensive advertising, branding and communications experience and has worked with several high profile organizations building brands globally. Her integrated marketing campaigns have created connections and brand recognition in the consumer products industry.

I am anxious to combine my creative vision with the most innovative marine lighting brand in the world.” Nicole resides in Plantation, Florida and will be based at OceanLED’s US headquarters at the Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mr. Socarras joins as Territory Sales Manager for the North East, Mid West and Latin American markets. He will oversee and strengthen current accounts while strategically developing new sales channels within his region. Oscar has over 25 years of extensive experience in the marine industry including International and Domestic Sales, OEM Sales, Purchasing and Account management.

Oscar resides in Miami Lakes and will be based at OceanLED’s US headquarters as well.
