Maritime Regs: Preparing For Future Emission Requirements

Posted by December 10, 2014

A Webinar: December 11, 2014 2pm to 3:15pm (EST)

This week, find out why and how choosing ExxonMobil Marine Fuels & Lubricants Mobilgard 410 NC can help optimize the performance of engines that meet Tier IV emission requirements, which continue to be phased in from Jan. 1, 2015, depending on vessel and engine type. This webinar will show you how this specially formulated lubricant can help:

  • Improve engine cleanliness;
  • Minimize liner wear;
  • Optimize the performance of engines that meet Tier IV emission requirements.

The EPA requires that new and medium and high-speed engines must significantly reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) and diesel particulate matter (PM) emissions within US Caribbean Emission Control Areas (ECAs). In response, ExxonMobil has developed an advanced lubricant that can help optimize the performance of engines and aftermarket treatment devices (ATDs) that meet these requirements. This includes exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units.

Mobilgard 410 NC is a high performance, zinc and chlorine-free 10 TBN engine oil. It has been designed to help optimize the performance of medium and high-speed engines that meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Tier IV requirements. As part of ExxonMobil’s technology leadership, production of Mobilgard 410 NC began prior to the EPA implementation, allowing customers to optimize their engines’ performance from the outset. With interest in alternative fuels growing, ExxonMobil developed Mobilgard 410 NC to be compatible with other fuel options, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) and biodiesel.

In the Webinar, you will learn and can ask questions about
:

  • Field trials showing 20% improvement in piston cleanliness compared with a typical Tier III lubricant;
  • Exceptional anti-wear properties that help extend component life;
  • Mobilgard 410 NC’s reduced lubricant consumption, lowering costs in the long term;
  • Which engines Mobilgard 410NC is already approved for use in; and
  • Much more.

Don't miss this important opportunity to enhance your engine's performance. To learn more about Mobilgard 410 NC, SIGN UP FOR THE WEBINAR by Clicking: http://exxonmobile.navalprofessional.com/
