Magnolia LNG Completes Management Team
Magnolia LNG LLC (MLNG), the wholly owned subsidiary of Liquefied Natural Gas Limited has completed the staffing of it’s senior management team through the appointment of experienced LNG industry personnel to the final two open positions.
Mr. Richard Wheeler has joined MLNG as Process Technology Manager; in this role he will be responsible for management of process technology applications and interfaces, including application of LNGL’s proprietary OSMR® for the MLNG facility. Richard will lead technology interface on behalf of MLNG with other process licensors (i.e. BASF for the acid gas removal system), major rotating equipment and package equipment suppliers, and provide technology support to the KBR‐SKE&C USA contractor joint venture efforts. He will also support the expansion of the LNGL OSMR® process application to subsequent projects. Mr. Wheeler is a UK Chartered Engineer with over 20 years oil and gas industry process experience including the last 12 years with the BG Group supporting LNG projects in the US, Canada and Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical and Chemical Engineering from University College of Swansea in Wales, UK.
Mr. Maury Brandon Hudson has joined MLNG as Vice President, Operations and Maintenance; in this role he will be responsible for establishing and managing the operations and maintenance (O&M) team that will start‐up and operate the MLNG facility. This will include supporting the KBR‐SKE&C USA joint venture in the EPC phase leading into Commissioning, Start‐up and Full Operations, with an emphasis on developing the MLNG Safety Culture in establishing a highly reliable LNG facility. Mr. Hudson will also be responsible for supporting the transition of the MLNG operations strategy into subsequent LNGL OSMR® opportunities. He brings 20 years hydrocarbon processing industry operations and management experience to MLNG, including his most recent posting as Vice President Corpus Christi LNG Operations with Cheniere Energy. Mr. Hudson holds a BS in Chemical Engineering at the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Global Business Management.
