Lean Marine Names Persson Sales Director

Swedish ship propulsion optimization and performance monitoring experts Lean Marine Sweden AB have appointed Jonas Persson to the role of Sales Director.

In this position, Persson will hold overall responsibility for the expansion of the customer base for the automated propulsion optimization system FuelOpt and the smart performance management and reporting software Fleet Analytics worldwide, in addition to supporting Lean Marine’s existing customer network. He will also be responsible for increasing the awareness of Lean Marine’s brand within the maritime industry.

Persson originally joined Lean Marine in February 2020 in the position of Regional Sales Manager following his previous role of Vice President of Sales and Projects at TTS Marine AB.

He brings broad experience in cargo and passenger access equipment sales for Ro-Ro, RoPax and cruise vessels in international markets to his new sales director role. His academic qualifications include a master’s degree in Naval Architecture and a Sea Captain bachelor’s degree from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
