Kohler Power Systems Announces Promotions

Posted by December 9, 2015

Kohler Power Systems has announced two promotions within its marine segment. Patrick Kline has been promoted to Global Marine, Americas, KPS; and Frank Formas has been appointed to MGR – Field Service, Global Marine, KPS.

In his new role, Kline has overall responsibility for all Global Marine sales efforts in the Americas. While at Kohler, he has established a rapport with the North American Global Marine distribution channel and has introduced Global Marine into unexplored markets. In his new position, Kline will continue to develop the Global Marine Americas network toward further segment diversification and area coverage expansion.

Formas meanwhile takes up overall responsibility for product support, channel development, E-Learning, product training development and Application Engineering. While at Kohler, he has coordinated cross-functional team activities to create outstanding reputable customer relationships with all North American OEMs. In his new role, he will continue to develop and create key performance indicators (KPIs) for marine quality control using the field report tracking tool and will continue to enhance the effectiveness of our quality assurance systems, as well as establishing a 24-hour global marine service network leveraging Mark Johns and Francesco Pitardi.
