In 2014, as a new concept, Glander International Bunkering launched its first Internship program offering the youth an opportunity to gain experience and hopefully build a long-term career in the shipping industry.

The Internship recruitment campaign was run on a small scale at the end of 2013 with a high response rate. From the campaign, three interns were chosen to be apart of a six month program which includes training at the Glander International Bunkering Training Academy in Dubai.

The Glander International Bunkering Training Academy syllabus was created by the most experienced leaders & traders. The program serves as a platform and learning guide and runs in conjunction with ‘real time’ on the job experience. At the end of the time, three successful candidates were offered a permanent position in the Glander International Bunkering Group.  We are delighted to introduce our new team members; Anders Petersen, Ditlev Sloth Pless and Martin Leoe.

Anders is now working at our India office, Ditlev in Singapore and Martin in Dubai.
