Gifford to Lead GOST Sales Team

GOST (Global Ocean Security Technologies), celebrating its 10th year in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced that Brian Gifford has been tapped for the role of GOST National Sales Manager.

 
A 30-year marine industry veteran and NMEA MEI, AMEI and NMEA2000 certified, Gifford began his career at West Marine in 1988, working his way up to store and sales manager positions over the course of nine years. During that time, he was responsible for sales, budgeting, and staffing for several locations at the largest marine retailer in the U.S. Gifford then moved into the marine electronics manufacturing segment at Raymarine and then Brunswick New Technologies as a technical support and product support specialist. This technical understanding combined with his retail sales experience lead to his position as regional sales manager for Garmin International in 2006, followed by regional sales manager for Maritime Marketing, LLC in 2008. Most recently, he worked as national warranty manager for Navico. Based out of New Durham, New Hampshire, Gifford is responsible for servicing existing accounts and expansion of the GOST brand.
