Engineering Firm Rebranded WSP USA

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services firm, is now WSP worldwide effective May 10. In the United States, the firm will operate as WSP USA. 
 
Parsons Brinckerhoff, a transportation engineering and management organization founded in 1885 in New York City, was acquired in 2014 by WSP, a global professional services consultancy. For the past two and a half years, the firm has operated as WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the U.S.
 
WSP USA has engineered hundreds of maritime projects, including port master planning, modernization and development programs, from coast to coast. The firm offers expertise in areas such as coastal engineering; piers, jetties and seawalls; container, auto, bulk and general cargo terminals; hydrology, hydraulic and sedimentation analyses; wind/wave analyses; breakwaters; vessel navigation; and terminal operations. The firm provides a broad range of services to clients in the ports and intermodal market to respond to issues that port authorities, terminal operators, railroads and other public and private clients face on a daily basis.

WSP USA, with nearly 7,000 employees in 100 offices nationwide, will continue to partner with clients on the development of infrastructure including buildings, transportation, energy, water and environmental projects nationwide. The firm serves public and private clients with a range of services including strategic advisory, program management, planning, engineering, construction management, and operations & maintenance. During its 132-year history, the firm has planned, designed and helped deliver some of the nation's most significant infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, transit systems, highways, airports, buildings, stadiums and energy storage facilities.
