David Cedro has joined the Danos executive team as vice president of finance and administration, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s domestic and international administration, finance and accounting activities. Meanwhile, James Callahan, who previously held the senior finance position, has moved into a new role as vice president of project services.

Cedro has more than 25 years of experience in construction and energy accounting and finance, including management positions with Ernst & Young LLP, Arthur Andersen LLP and the Shaw Group. He also has worked with a variety of public and private companies, advising them in finance, administration and risk management. A resident of Metairie, Cedro serves on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America (SELA Council) and the University of New Orleans Accounting Department Advisory Council. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans.

In his new executive position as vice president of project services, Callahan will provide strategic oversight and management of the company’s project management, construction, fabrication, automation, coatings, scaffolding and other related service lines. Callahan is charged with the operations of projects worldwide, providing integrated total project support for customers’ onshore and offshore activity.

Callahan joined Danos in 2013 as director — and later, vice president — of finance and administration. He has nearly three decades of experience in finance, risk management, asset management and procurement, and has held executive leadership positions in the telecommunication and ship repair industries. A resident of Lockport, Callahan serves on the board of Restore or Retreat, a coastal advocacy group, and is a former chairman of the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from Nicholls State University.
