Conrad Industries, Inc. announced the appointment of Scott J. Theriot as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Johnny Conrad, President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “Scott has been in the shipyard business since 1976 in various positions spending the majority of his career with Bollinger Shipyards and was a member of Bollinger’s senior management team for a total of 25 years. Most recently, Scott was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and has also held positions of Vice President & General Manager and Executive Vice President of New Construction.”
Terry T. Frickey, Chief Operating Officer since February 2005, will assume the new position of Executive Vice President – Business and Product Development and will remain a member of the executive team.
Conrad continued, “I believe Scott’s addition along with Terry’s new role will strengthen our management team’s ability to lead our hard working and industrious employees in serving our customers and taking advantage of future market opportunities.”
Conrad Industries, Inc., established in 1948 and headquartered in Morgan City, Louisiana, designs, builds and overhauls tugboats, ferries, liftboats, barges, offshore supply vessels and other steel and aluminum products for both the commercial and government markets. The company provides both repair and new construction services at its five shipyards located in southern Louisiana and Texas.
