CMR Group Makes Two Senior Appointments

CMR Group, the control instrumentation and electrical engineering specialist, has announced two senior appointments as it continues to develop and expand its global operations.

Jean-François Michel has joined as vice-president in charge of production, supply chain and purchasing, bringing over 20 years’ international experience working for industrial organizations in Tunisia, China and France to the role.
 
He will have specific responsibility managing all production and supply chain activities worldwide with the exception of CMR Far East.
 
CMR’s Asia operations will also be boosted with Todd Shou’s appointment as sales manager for China, where he will head-up sales activity across the country with specific responsibility to expand and develop the company’s OEM engine business.
 
Employing 650 people located across eight international operations, CMR, which has its head office in Marseille, France, currently has sales revenue in excess of €60 million.
 
The CMR Group supplies instrumentation and controls for offshore platforms and vessels, marine, engines and industrial applications world-wide. With core product groups including rugged cable systems, controls, custom products, electronics, alarm monitoring and safety systems, industrial sensors, and software, the company is an engineering partner for many leading manufacturers.
