Van Munster Boats says that due to recent growth in its business there is an opportunity for a junior apprentice to join the team located in Morisset, New South Wales, Australia. The company details the opportunity as follows:
"Van Munster boat builders are world recognised within the marine industry as an advanced composite boat yard specialising in the manufacture of custom sailboats of high tech composite construction.
The successful applicant will gain formal qualifications as a shipwright/boat builder at TAFE, studying marine craft construction certificate 3. Being part of a highly-skilled small team means that you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training in all facets of custom boatbuilding and repair, in particular specialising in pre-preg carbon fibre composites.
To ensure your success in this role you will have completed or be currently enrolled in high school. VET courses will be viewed favourably.
