V.Group has appointed John Adams as managing director of V.Ships UK Ltd. Adams brings a wealth of experience from 30 years at Teekay Shipping, most recently holding the position of Managing Director, Glasgow and Chair of the Operational Leadership Team.In his time at Teekay, Adams played a key leadership role during Teekay’s growth, integrating acquisitions into the expanding fleet operations. V.Group to Manage ADNOC's 93 Offshore Vessels
Ship management and services major V.Group has signed a contract with Abu Dhabi-based ADNOC Logistics & Services to provide crew management services to 93 offshore support vessels.The ship management company said that to support the contract, and to enable further expansion in the region, it has opened a new Abu Dhabi office, which began operations in early August.The office and service function was successfully delivered within a 90-day period, as part of a formal agreement between the two parties.Senior management from both companies attended an official signing ceremony at the ADNOC L&S

Marine support services provider V.Group has appointed Alison Henriksen to the position of chief financial officer, effective immediately. 1,000 new seafarers register on first day of V.Group's new Manila Training Center Maritime services provider V.Group, together with its third party ship management arm, V.Ships, are celebrating the inauguration of a new office and training center in Manila, Philippines. The recently opened center is located in the Philippines’ Aseana City district. Ocupying 6,700 square meters over five floors of the new Aseana II building, the state-of-the-art facility is the single biggest investment by V.Group in its history and is intended to become a center of excellence for the group.
V.Group Appoints Head of Communications
Maritime services provider V.Group has appointed Sheila Armstrong to the newly created position, head of communications. Based in the company’s V.Ships office in Glasgow, Armstrong will report directly to Executive Director, Bob Bishop. Previously head of communications at Inchcape Shipping Services, Armstrong brings to the role communications experience primarily gained in the maritime services sector.
