GAC Sri Lanka Taps Edirisinghe as Director
Business veteran Ravi Edirisinghe has been appointed Director/Chief Executive Officer of GAC Group of companies in Sri Lanka.He brings to his new role 27 years of knowledge and experience in strategic planning, business development and re-engineering, supply chain management, logistics and project management in diverse industries to this role. He is responsible for the strategic growth and business direction of the Group comprising GAC Shipping Ltd, GAC Marine Services Pvt Ltd and GAC Logistics Ltd. He replaces Mahesh Kurukulasuriya, who continues to be a member of the Group’s board of directors.
Svitzer Appoints Jeeninga, McKeating as Cluster Managers

He has been with Svitzer since 2009, most recently as Operations Manager in Svitzer Americas before taking on his new role.Maurice McKeating has nearly 30 years of international experience, the majority of which were regional or managing director roles. He was born in the UK and has worked in Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bangladesh, and The Philippines before moving back to the UK. Prior to joining Svitzer, he was most recently Cluster Head, UK, Ireland and Mediterranean of APL.

GAC, Hemas team on Sri Lanka Logistics Facility
GAC Sri Lanka has partnered with Hemas Transportation to build an integrated logistics facility in Muthurajawela Industrial Zone in the western part of Sri Lanka. It will comprise a state-of-the-art distribution center, a container yard and a 15-acre warehouse.
