Richards Appointed CEO For 3Si Group

Safety and Survival Systems International Ltd (3Si) has announced the appointment of new CEO, Andrew Richards. Richards joins the group, whose companies include Ocean Safety, Typhoon International, International Safety Products, 3Si Offshore and Revere Survival, in mid-May.   Richards has over 20 years’ experience in the safety sector of the marine industry.  Most recently he was CEO of marine refurbishing business Trimline, and prior to that Managing Director of Cosalt PLC’s Marine Division, and Global Marine and Leisure Sales Director for Survitec.   Previously

Ocean Safety Appoints Senior SOLAS Market Manager

Simon O’Connell takes up the appointment of Senior SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) Market Manager at Ocean Safety, focussing on sales to customers in the international maritime and offshore sectors of SOLAS approved safety products.     Ocean Safety, specialists in the worldwide supply, distribution, service and hire of marine safety equipment, have created the new key role to reflect the company’s growth in commercial marine for the supply of liferafts, lifejackets and other safety equipment globally.    O’Connell  has over 25 years sales experience

ISP Appoints Tinkler as Head of Sales

and then Marine Brand Manager at Henri Lloyd for 10 years, will primarily focus on managing and developing the international business of ISP and controlling the development of the company’s range of products.   ISP is part of the 3Si group, along with other leading safety names including Ocean Safety, Typhoon and Revere.

Typhoon Appoints Willis as UK Sales Manager

Typhoon International, a manufacturer of drysuits, and a major player in the diving and watersports markets, has appointed Ben Willis as UK Commercial Sales Manager.   Willis joins the company at an exciting time as Typhoon aligns its activities with those of its sister companies Ocean Safety and ISP, each providing a wide range of safety products.  In his role Willis will focus on the Emergency sector, (including Police, Fire, environmental, waterways, windfarms and rescue organizations), working with the other 3Si companies, to provide a complete package into this sector.

Bockett Named Ocean Safety Training Manager

The UK’s largest independent safety supplier, Ocean Safety, have made a key appointment at their Southampton Branch and is pleased to announce that Steve Bockett has accepted the position of Training Manager. Steve has spent four years at Ocean Safety in Southampton as Servicing Manager, during which time he has gained the valuable skills and technical expertise to more than fulfil the demanding Training Manager role. Steve will be actively involved in the development of Ocean Safety’s international service station network, as well as the introduction of internal training programs.
