Readyhough Joins Ecosse

Ecosse Subsea Systems (ESS) has added  Andy Readyhough to the management team, charged with global business development for the ambitious Aberdeen-shire based company which specialises in seabed clearance and trenching operations in the renewable energy, oil and gas and interconnector sectors.   Readyhough has joined ESS having previously held senior management positions at Global Marine Systems and DeepOcean UK. He is a master mariner with more than 35 years maritime and offshore experience and for the last 18 years was engaged in submarine cable installation, trenching and maintenance

ESS Appoints Gillespie as Managing Director

Ecosse Subsea Systems (ESS) has appointed Mark Gillespie as managing director.   Gillespie has more than 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, holding senior technical, commercial and contractual management roles in Technip, CSL, GE Oil & Gas, Centrica and Talisman. More recently he was managing director of Aberdeen-based engineering and project management consultancy PDi Ltd.   ESS founder Mike Wilson said the appointment strengthens the management team and introduces new skills needed to accelerate the business through the next level of growth. Middleton Joins Ecosse Subsea Systems

Ecosse Subsea Systems (ESS) has appointed Iain Middleton to the newly created role of commercial manager.   The subsea and engineering technology company said the move would allow commercial director Keith McDermott to continue to pursue new business opportunities for Ecosse in the Asian and US renewables and oil and gas sectors, and to focus on strategic developments.   In a 30-year career within the oil and gas sector, mainly with major operator Shell, Middleton was responsible for the commercial strategy, planning and execution of a number of important onshore and offshore brownfield
