Danfoss Drives announced that Hannes Leichtfried has been appointed head of sales and marketing for the Drives business segment in North America.Leichtfried, an Austrian native, brings to the role nearly 30 years of experience at Danfoss in Austria and Germany. He began his career at Danfoss in 1994 as a technical support engineer, then moved into sales and marketing roles. He was most recently the head of sales and marketing for Danfoss Drives in the Central European region. Danfoss Drives has named Ian Barrie as its new Head of Sales for the Americas. In this position, Barrie will continue to build and develop strong regional sales channels and verticals for Danfoss Drives’ business within North America and Latin America.Previously, Barrie was Head of Global Key Accounts for Danfoss Drives. He has an extensive 25-year history with Danfoss, wherein he has held several regional and global positions in sales, marketing, and business development. Koniordos Appointed CEO of Yara
Environmental Solutions, and also as Chairman of the Yara Marine Board, will succeed Peter Strandberg, the company's founder. Before joining Yara International in 2015 as head of the Environmental Business Line, Koniordos served for 14 years in various management functions and geographies in Danfoss.
