The port of Antwerp has decided to appoint a full-time representative in the UK, based in London, in order to keep in closer touch with the economic situation there now that Brexit is looming closer. "Antwerp Port Authority is now in search of a full-time representative to further raise Antwerp’s profile on the British market," said a press statement from the company. Bruyninckx Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Eddy Bruyninckx, CEO of Antwerp Port Authority, was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday at a ceremony in Rotterdam. The distinction forms part of the IBJ Awards which are presented annually by the International Bulk Journal. The Award recognises Eddy Bruyninckx’ achievements over the past 20 years in developing the port of Antwerp into a world player, able to handle ships of all types and sizes, where cargoes of all sorts find suitable logistics facilities and storage.
