Rendall Joins The Shearer Group
Naval architect Ryan Rendall has joined the naval architecture, marine engineering and marine surveying firm The Shearer Group, Inc. (TSGI). Prior to joining TSGI, Rendall worked for Metal Shark Boats as a naval architect and marine engineer. He received a B.S. in Marine Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers and the Marine Technology Society.
Webb Institute Adds Assistant Professor of Marine Engineering
Division Director at the navy’s nuclear power school in Orlando, Fla. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and has served on various ASME and Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI) committees and working groups for heat exchanger design and performance testing. He has presented numerous papers on heat exchanger testing and uncertainty analysis at ASME, EPRI and power industry
