JA Moody Names New Operations VP

JA Moody announced that Mark Petersen-Overton will join the company as Vice President of Operations effective May 27, 2014.

Mark spent nearly 10 years in key leadership roles at Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. (LCE) following a distinguished 26-year career with the U.S. Navy. His background includes serving as the Vice President and Regional Director of the Northeast Region for LCE where he was responsible for supporting the Naval Ships Engineering Station (NAVSESS) in Philadelphia. Mark was then promoted to Senior Vice President of the Engineering Services Group at LCE where he was responsible for all U.S. Navy Hull Mechanical and Electrical engineering services support across the country. Mark and his team were able to grow the engineering services line of business from $20 million to over $75 million in six years.

During Mark’s Navy career he served as Chief Engineer of USS Reid (FFG-30), and USS NIMITZ (CVN-68). He also served as Ship Maintenance officer for both the Commander Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific ( COMNAVSURFGRUMIDPAC) in Hawaii and the Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific (COMNAVAIRPAC) in Coronado, CA. Mark also served as Commanding Officer, Fleet Technical Support Activity, Pacific (FTSCPAC),

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, as well as a Master’s of Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
