Subsea solution engineering company OceanWorks has appointed Richard Gage, P.Eng to the role of Director of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Gage is responsible for overseeing and supporting the execution of all projects. Through the management of the PMO, the Project Director facilitates the required approval of project scopes, schedules and budgets. Gage will lead OceanWorks’ project management personnel and processes to ensure that cost and schedule progression controls are effective, project risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner, and the company continues to deliver on-time on budget projects.

Gage’s experience is directly in line with OceanWorks’ growing subsea technology business in oil and gas, submarine rescue and ocean observing systems. He brings to OceanWorks an awarded skillset established at BCHydro, where his PMO was the recipient of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Office of the Year Award for 2016.
