Technip Recertified to Gender Equality Standards

Technip entities in Brazil, France and Italy have been recertified to the EDGE (Economic Dividends for Gender Equality) global standard for gender equality in the workplace, including the group’s headquarters and the Innovation and Technology center both located in Paris, as well as Technip’s manufacturing plants in Le Trait, France, and Vitoria, Brazil. With Australia, Malaysia, the U.K., United Arab Emirates and the U.S. certified last year, Technip counts eight countries EDGE Certified and remains the first and only company in the energy industry to achieve this certification.   ED

Lincoln Electric Invests in Welding Tech Center

Press release - The Lincoln Electric Company, a subsidiary of Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc., announced it is investing approximately $30 million in a new Welding Technology Center on its Euclid, Ohio campus. The Center will focus on the training of welding educators and industry leaders to address the rising demand for welding education and career pathways in welding and advanced manufacturing.  Lincoln Electric will also dedicate resources to support welding training for veterans at this facility. CTruk Sets Plans for Expansion

More than 120 new jobs in the cards if Advanced Composite Technology Center project receives grant funding support CTruk signed the lease on a 6,400m² site on the Colne Estuary, a few miles upriver from its current Brightlingsea base. The company plans to use the Fieldgates site in Haven Road, The Hythe, East Colchester to build the larger vessels required for offshore wind farm projects further out to sea.
