SBM Offshore is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Barril as Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective March 1, 2015.  Philippe's appointment as a member of the Management Board is subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on April 15, 2015. Philippe joins the Company from Technip, where he most recently held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.  In his five years with the Company he also served as Executive Vice President and COO Onshore / Offshore and Senior Vice President Onshore-Offshore Product Lines and Technologies.

SBM Offshore Nominates Wood as CFO

SBM Offshore has nominated D.H.M. Wood as a member of the management board and chief financial officer (CFO) to replace current CFO, P.M. van Rossum, who is set to retire.   The company will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on November 30, 2016 where it will be proposed that Wood be appointed as a member of the management board for a period of four years until the 2021 AGM. Porter Appointed GM for Radio Holland

Imtech Marine has appointed Peter Porter as General Manager for Imtech Marine Belgium, also known as Radio Holland, per October 1, 2015. Porter will succeed Frans Ploegaert, who has started in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, as Director Middle East and India. Aquaterra Names Hawkes Financial Director

Offshore engineering solutions provider Aquaterra Energy has appointed Nick Hawkes as Financial Director based at the company’s headquarters in Norwich.   Hawkes has more than four years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and joins Aquaterra having spent nearly 20 years with Babcock International Group where he latterly held the position as Financial Director for 15 years. Maritime New Zealand has appointed Captain Jon Peters as harbormaster for the Port of Taharoa, replacing Maritime NZ staff member Capt. Richard Lough, who held the role on a temporary basis.   Capt.
