Nautisk Names Martinsen Commercial Director

Global maritime navigation expert Nautisk said it has appointed a new Commercial Director, strengthening its team as it prepares to expand its digital navigation services.    Espen Martinsen brings over 10 years’ experience in sales, and has spent the last seven years at the Danish toy group, LEGO, most recently as Nordic Field Sales Director. GNS Names Country Manager for Norway

Maritime navigation services group Global Navigation Solutions (GNS) announced the appointment of Jon Folkedal as its new country manager for Norway with immediate effect, marking the company’s first specific country appointment in Scandinavia.   Folkedal joins GNS from Cummins Norway AS, where he acted as commercial marine sales manager. He brings to his new position more than 13 years’ experience in the shipping industry, including nine years with rope specialist Timm Marine. He has also held positions with GIS and map supplier Ugland IT Group/Nordeca, as well as IBM.
