Raimon Strunck (53) has been appointed as MV WERFTEN's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), taking over the newly created role on October 1. His responsibilities include project management, design, planning as well as procurement and logistics. Maritime industry veteran Peter Fetten will take over as President & CEO of German shipbuilder MV WERFTEN as of May 1, 2018. Jarmo Laakso will remain as Managing Director and step into the position of COO to focus on cruise shipbuilding.Fetten was previously the Senior Vice President of Corporate Ship Refits at Carnival Corporation & PLC for the past nine years. MV WERFTEN Takes On 90 New Trainees

Janne Luukkonen has taken over the position of Director of Project Management at MV WERFTEN as of August 1, 2017. He is a member of the senior management, responsible for all shipbuilding projects, and reports to CEO Jarmo Laakso. Luukkonen was previously a member of the Meyer Werft management team in Turku, Finland. Gruenhagen Named CFO at MV WERFTEN
Shipbuilding group MV WERFTEN said it has appointed Richard Gruenhagen as Managing Director of Finance and Administration to reinforce the group's Management Board as new CFO effective February 1. Gruenhagen graduated from Indiana University, is a Certified Public Accountant (USA), has many years of experience as Executive Financial Management Professional, broad business experience as CFO, Director of Finance, Chief Accountant and as Head FP&A & Controlling in large global companies and startups, incl. ABB and GE. Most recently, Gruenhagen worked as CFO at DHL Logistics in Switzerland.
