Kraken Robotics Names Shea CTO

Kraken Robotics announced that David Shea, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Products, will take on the additional role of Kraken’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Shea joined Kraken more than 10 years ago at its inception, and has been directing Kraken’s engineering, product development, and R&D in a variety of roles, first as Kraken’s Senior Vice President of Engineering and subsequently as EVP, Products.

Kraken Adds Offshore Exec Sam Allen as Advisor

Canada-based Kraken Robotics announced that it has hired longtime offshore industry executive Sam Allen as a strategic advisor to help the marine technology company refine its strategy for the international offshore energy market.Allen was President of Technip Canada from 1997 to 2012 and headed up Technip Oceania from 2012 until he retired from Technip in 2018.At Kraken, he will focus on landing additional pilot projects and converting pilot projects to longer-term recurring revenue contracts, the company said, adding this may include collaboration with additional industry partners as well as M&A

Kraken Robotics Inc. announced that Dr. Jeremy Dillon has joined Kraken’s wholly owned subsidiary, Kraken Robotic Systems Inc. as Chief Scientist.Dr. Dillon has 20 years of experience in research and development with a background in signal processing and mathematics.
