KPI Bridge Oil Promotes Groves
KPI Bridge Oil has promoted Sam Groves to senior bunker and lubricants trader at its London office. Groves, who is currently working toward his Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification, has been with KPI Bridge Oil Group for six years, joining the company as a trainee and working up through the ranks.
Wilson Joins American Club’s Asia Office

A master mariner whose 15-year seagoing career included service with Shell Tankers, Stena Line and Windstar Cruises, Wilson holds an MSc maritime operations degree and is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and the Nautical Institute. Maritime Partners Aim to Increase Opportunities for Women
Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA International) and Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (The Institute) are partnering to increase the professional competence and enhance educational opportunities for women in the maritime industry. In a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has signed in London, the two organizations will offer five scholarships annually over the next 10 years to individuals nominated by WISTA International. The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and the Malta Maritime Forum have signed an MoU which will support the education of shipping professionals in Malta as part of the island’s maritime growth strategy.
