Maritime recruitment company Faststream Recruitment Group has appointed Jamie Keogh as Executive Vice President of its Houston based North American headquarters. Keogh is a recruitment professional with 19 years' experience withn the sector. Keogh previously specialized in major project recruitment within oil and gas, power and petrochemicals and has experience working onsite with major operators and EPCs. Keogh will drive the development of Faststream’s established U.S. operations.

Faststream Opens New Global Headquarters

Brexit Could Cause an Exodus of UK Maritime Talent

The U.K.’s decision to leave the EU has the potential to drive many of its maritime employees away, according to the results of a survey issued by industry recruitment group Faststream earlier today.   A survey to U.K. based maritime employees, issued following the Brexit results today (24.06.16), shows that over 39 percent of employees who wouldn’t previously have looked at a move away from the U.K. would now consider roles overseas, with a further 23 percent undecided. “It’s a leave vote for the U.K. and a leave vote for U.K. maritime employees,” said Mark Charman

Cammach Recruitment Acquires Bryant Group

Aberdeen recruitment specialist Cammach Recruitment said it has acquired rival firm Bryant Group in a deal that is expected to create a new, locally-owned market leader, based in the heart of the city, with combined turnover of more than £14 million ($18.6 million).   Cammach Recruitment paid an undisclosed sum to take control of Bryant Group. Report: Job Security an Issue for Maritime Execs
