Danos Hires Knight and Promotes Williams

Oilfield service provider Danos announcd it has hired 30-year industry veteran Jerry Knight as general manager of project services, tapped to lead the company’s fabrication, construction, coatings, scaffolding and rope access service lines.Prior to joining Danos, Knight worked nearly 14 years at Williams, where he held several roles, most recently as technical services manager for the Gulf of Mexico. Shell Taps Danos for U.S. Gulf of Mexico Workforce

U.S. oilfield services provider Danos has won a contract with Shell to provide a production workforce across Shell production assets in the Gulf of Mexico.The assets to be covered by the agreement include Appomattox, Auger, Enchilada, Salsa, Mars, Ursa, Olympus, Perdido and Stones.While Danos informed of the Shell deal on Thursday, June 25, the three-year contract began on May 1.The deal will see 144 Danos personnel employed in a variety of positions including crane operations, control room and process operators, electricians, electronic technicians, instrument technicians, logistics, and onsite

Danos Hires Daugherty, Moberly as Scaffolding Managers

Scaffolding services provider Danos has announced the hiring of two new employees to oversee scaffolding operations within the organization: Clay Daugherty and John Moberly. Collectively, the two have 47 years of industry experience and will share management responsibilities of the company’s growing scaffolding business.A resident of Denham Springs, Daugherty has 23 years of industry experience. Leadership Changes at Danos

Danos has appointed two executive team members to new roles: Reed Peré will serve as vice president of business development, sales and marketing, and James Callahan as the vice president of operations.Peré has over a decade of industry experience and began his career with Danos in 2006. He received the award for Danos’ Staff Employee of the Year in 2012 and joined the executive team as vice president of production services in 2015. Danos Announces Executive Leadership Changes

David Cedro has joined the Danos executive team as vice president of finance and administration, with responsibility for overseeing the company’s domestic and international administration, finance and accounting activities. Danos Names Carter Coatings Operations Manager

Danos has promoted Clay Carter as coatings operations manager, a position with responsibility for all day-to-day activities of the company’s coatings service line. The appointment follows Carter’s tenure as acting coatings operations manager since 2016.    A native of Sugar Land, Texas, Carter attended the U.S. Naval Academy and went on to serve six years in the Navy. Danos Names Staff Employee of the Year

Danos has announced that Scott Theriot has been named 2016 Staff Employee of the Year. The award is presented each year to a staff member who best embodies the company’s core purpose and values. Theriot first joined Danos in 2003, working part-time as a roustabout and fitter in the company’s fabrication shop in Larose while going to school. After graduating from Nicholls State University in 2008, he was hired full-time as a personnel coordinator. Danos executives have formed a Project Management Group (PMG) to provide a single point-of-contact for customers with large-scale projects involving multiple services lines. Danos, a family owned oil and gas service company, announced plans to expand its fabrication capabilities, by opening a 120,000 square-foot fabrication facility in Amelia, La.
