  Julian Metherell has informed the board of Directors of Genel Energy plc of his intention to retire from the Company, with effect from the close of the Annual General Meeting on 21st April 2015.   Julian Metherell's successor as Chief Financial Officer will be Ben Monaghan, who is currently the Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa oil and gas investment banking at J.P. Typhoon Appoints Willis as UK Sales Manager

Typhoon International, a manufacturer of drysuits, and a major player in the diving and watersports markets, has appointed Ben Willis as UK Commercial Sales Manager.   Willis joins the company at an exciting time as Typhoon aligns its activities with those of its sister companies Ocean Safety and ISP, each providing a wide range of safety products.  In his role Willis will focus on the Emergency sector, (including Police, Fire, environmental, waterways, windfarms and rescue organizations), working with the other 3Si companies, to provide a complete package into this sector.

Bollinger Shipyards Achieve Safety Milestones

Bollinger Wins SCA Safety Award

 Bollinger Shipyards was presented the 2016 “Award for Excellence in Safety” for the 12th consecutive year by the Shipbuilders Council of America (SCA) on May 18, 2017 during SCA’s Annual General Membership Meeting in Washington, D.C. This award is given to member companies with the lowest total recordable incident rates (TRIR) based on a quarterly injury and illness survey conducted by the Association. Oliver Named Assistant Administrator for NOAA Fisheries

 Chris Oliver has been selected by Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, with concurrence from the White House, as assistant administrator for NOAA Fisheries.   As assistant administrator, Oliver will oversee the federal agency responsible for recreational and commercial fisheries that contribute more than $200 billion to the nation's economy and support nearly two million jobs. In addition to managing productive and sustainable domestic fisheries, including some aspects of marine aquaculture, the agency works to recover and conserve protected resources such as whales, sea turtles and corals.
