Aquaterra Names Hawkes Financial Director

Offshore engineering solutions provider Aquaterra Energy has appointed Nick Hawkes as Financial Director based at the company’s headquarters in Norwich.   Hawkes has more than four years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and joins Aquaterra having spent nearly 20 years with Babcock International Group where he latterly held the position as Financial Director for 15 years. Hawkes graduated from Bournemouth University in 1987 with a BA (Hons) Business Studies.   His appointment follows the announcement in July that Aquaterra Energy secured a multimillion pound investment

Wisconsin Energy Corp said it would buy Integrys Energy Group Inc for $5.71 billion to create a larger, more diverse Midwest electric and natural gas delivery company. Norwegian energy storage company Plan B Energy Storage (PBES) announced Arnstein Andreassen has joined the firm to develop marine energy storage markets. Andreassen brings decades of experience in power generation and propulsion.   In his previous positions, both in Naval and commercial business, Andreassen worked with power generation and propulsion systems in the marine space. Andreassen comes to PBES from Bertel O. Steen Teknikk AS (Bostek), where he is responsible for sales of commercial marine generator sets.

 Eivind Aune has joined designed and manufacturer of industrial lithium-ion energy storage Plan B Energy Storage (PBES) in order to help further develop energy storage markets.   Aune brings to the role decades of experience in Norwegian business.
